Job summary

Pfizer, in partnership with Cpl, is seeking an Associate Scientist Cell Culture to join the MSAT Department at Grange Castle, Dublin, for an 11-month fixed-term contract. The role is onsite and focuses on supporting sterile injectables and biotech operations through laboratory studies and data generation.

Qualifications

• BSc/ MSc in biotechnology, biochemical/ chemical engineering, chemistry or related field.
• 0-2+ years of biopharmaceutical experience.
• Foundational knowledge of biotech, biologics manufacturing, cell biology and related disciplines.
• Exposure to academic or industrial labs and basic experimental design.

Responsibilities

• Support execution of laboratory studies for process characterisation and tech transfer.
• Document and organise experimental data to support objectives.
• Contribute to investigations and technical activities under guidance.
• Collaborate with analytical, manufacturing, quality, and tech teams.
• Maintain equipment and comply with Pfizer safety and quality requirements.
• Assist with documentation, troubleshooting and continuous improvement.

Education

BSc or MSc in Biotechnology or related discipline

0-2+ years in biopharmaceutical industry

Laboratory data generation and documentation

Teamwork and multidisciplinary collaboration
