Job summary

Pfizer in partnership with Cpl Group seeks a QC Analyst Micro to join the team on an 11-month fixed-term contract at our Dublin plant in Grange Castle. This onsite role focuses on microbiology testing, calibration of instruments, and timely documentation in a cGMP environment.

The role requires a science/engineering background with strong communication skills; training will be provided and there are opportunities to support QA investigations and audits.

Qualifications

• Requires degree: Science/Engineering or equivalent (not essential but preferred)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Incumbents may be asked to perform other duties as required

Responsibilities

• Perform microbiological testing on finished drug product, in-process materials, stability samples and environmental monitoring
• Calibrate and use laboratory instrumentation
• Document analytical results in a timely manner
• Report non-conformances to the QC Manager
• Assist in preparation/review of SOPs, reports, and protocols
• Assist in training of other analysts and ensure training compliance
• Support validation/qualification of test methods and processes
• Facilitate investigations and support product investigations
• Support laboratory inspections and audits
• Troubleshoot lab methods and instrument issues
• Maintain trend analysis programs and contribute to QC operations
• Liaise with internal and external customers
• Ensure samples analyzed meet batch disposition requirements
