Job summary

Staycity Group seeks a Maintenance Team Member to support hotel and aparthotel operations across Ireland. This hands-on role covers daily maintenance checks, responsive repairs, and assisting with planned maintenance under the Maintenance Manager.

You’ll help keep apartments and public areas safe and functional, contributing to guest comfort and sustainability goals. We value practical experience, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work across shifts in a busy hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Previous relevant maintenance experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of safety and health regulations in a hotel/aparthotel environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance checks on apartments and public areas.
• Respond to repairs and coordinate with the Maintenance Manager on planned tasks.
• Conduct preventive and curative maintenance to ensure building systems operate reliably.
• Assist with stock, equipment and supplies management for the department.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and monitor alarms and systems.
• Identify hazards and report/mitigate risks promptly.

We would love you to have:

• Previous relevant experience and some knowledge of country/property specific maintenance, safety, and health regulations in a similar environment or property/hotel is preferred but not essential

What you can do for us:

• Work with our Maintenance Manager in supporting planned maintenance checks and take a hands-on approach to reactive maintenance.
• Deliver daily, weekly and monthly safety checks as well as ensuring everything is in working order in the apartments and public areas,
• Take part in preventive and curative maintenance of the premises and equipment while promoting and contributing to setting up internal measures for the protection of the environment
• Assist with managing stocks, equipment and supplies for the department
• Ensure compliance with current safety procedures, and control the condition of the building, technical equipment and all safety and alarm systems in the property
• Ensure that all potential and real hazards are reported and reduced immediately
