Job summary

Yugo, based in central Dublin, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our state-of-the-art student accommodation team. The role covers planned maintenance, safety checks, and reactive repairs across multiple residences in the city. The position is based in Dublin with some weekend work during busy periods.

You will ensure buildings are safe, compliant and well presented for our students, using CAFM systems to log work orders and track progress. A hands-on, proactive approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Practical maintenance experience in accommodation, facilities management, property maintenance or a similar environment.
• A multi-skilled approach with experience in minor plumbing, carpentry, painting and general building repairs.
• Understanding of planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance and building compliance routines.
• Comfort using digital maintenance systems such as CAFM, with knowledge of BMS systems an advantage.
• Strong fault-finding, organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work independently.
• Commitment to health and safety, attention to detail and delivering high standards of service.
• Flexibility to work across multiple residences with occasional evening or weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), routine compliance checks, inspections and reactive repairs to maintain high standards of buildings.
• Respond to maintenance requests, undertake minor repairs and escalate defects as needed.
• Use CAFM to manage work orders, track maintenance logs and update records.
• Monitor BMS alarms and faults, escalating issues when required and ensuring safety compliance.
• Maintain clean, safe plant rooms and maintenance stores; liaise with contractors and manage access.
