Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a maintenance role within manufacturing, production or similar industry.
• Experience planning and executing preventative and planned maintenance programmes is essential
• Experience managing maintenance contractors, maintenance budgets and spare parts inventories
• Cement, quarrying, building products or industrial manufacturing experience desirable
• Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance principles
• Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and safe systems of work
• Understanding of plant reliability and continuous improvement principles
• Knowledge of contractor management and permit-to-work processes
• Engineering qualification (Diploma or Degree) is desirable

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and oversee maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance and reliability of plant equipment.
• Develop preventive and predictive maintenance plans and monitor execution to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate maintenance work orders and manage spare parts inventories.
• Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to support safety, compliance and continuous improvement.
