Job summary

Kilsaran is seeking a proactive Maintenance Manager to lead mechanical and electrical maintenance across five production facilities in Ireland. The role reports to the Head of Operations and focuses on uptime, safety, and cost control.

Responsibilities include developing maintenance strategies, leading a skilled team, and driving continuous improvement. The position offers a competitive base salary, a bonus scheme, and pension benefits.

Qualifications

• Time-served trade qualification and/or third-level degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related discipline).
• Minimum 6 years' experience in a similar maintenance leadership role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, drive accountability, and foster a high-performance culture.
• Strong understanding of OEE and experience implementing engineering solutions to improve it.

Responsibilities

• Lead the maintenance function across 5 production facilities, ensuring alignment with operational goals and safety standards.
• Drive accountability within the maintenance team, ensuring ownership of actions and timely issue resolution.
• Plan and manage scheduled maintenance and plant shutdowns to minimise downtime and maximise equipment availability.
• Develop and continuously improve preventative and corrective maintenance programmes with focus on root cause analysis and reliability.
• Oversee CMMS, inventory control, cost management and vendor performance.
• Collaborate with Production to align maintenance priorities with schedules and continuous improvement initiatives.
