Pantheon Talent & Consulting has partnered with a significant Renewable Energy player in Ireland. We seek a Maintenance Planner for a Connacht site, reporting to the CTO, to manage 24/7 maintenance and 3rd party contractors.

Qualifications

• Electrical or Mechanical background required.
• Experience with pumps, mixers, gearboxes, motors, valves and mechanical plant.
• SCADA/process monitoring experience.
• Coordination and preventative maintenance experience.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Experience with Excel and maintenance tracking systems.
• Full driving licence and on-call rota availability.

Responsibilities

• Monitor plant performance through SCADA, identifying faults and alerts.
• Coordinate engine maintenance contractors and servicing.
• Own and develop the site’s preventative maintenance strategy and schedules.
• Manage critical spares, parts and maintenance records.
• Work with operations to maximise plant reliability and performance.
• Ensure maintenance activities meet safety and operational standards.
• Help prepare the site for major expansion and new plant start-ups.

Pantheon Talent & Consulting has partnered with a significant and growing player in the Renewable Energy sector. With aggressive expansion plans across current and planned footprint within Ireland, they are now looking to bring an ambitious Maintenance Planner for their site based in Connacht.

Reporting to the CTO, this role will join a closely knit team and will manage all aspects of the site maintenance including managing 3rd party contractors as well as carrying out designated onsite maintenance on this 24/7 site.

This is a great opportunity to join an established business at an exciting stage of expansion, with real scope to influence how the maintenance strategy develops.

The Role

• Monitor plant performance through SCADA, identifying faults, pressure issues and equipment alerts before they become bigger problems.
• Coordinate engine maintenance contractors, servicing and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Own and develop the site’s preventative maintenance strategy, procedures and schedules.
• Manage critical spares, parts and maintenance records.
• Work closely with operations to maximise plant reliability and performance.
• Ensure maintenance and contractor activities meet operational and safety standards.
• Help prepare the site for major expansion and new plant start-ups.

The Person

• Electrical or Mechanical background
• Strong knowledge of pumps, mixers, gearboxes, motors, valves and mechanical plant
• SCADA/process monitoring experience
• Coordination and preventative maintenance experience
• Good organisational and communication skills
• Experience with Excel and maintenance tracking systems
• Experience with industrial engines/generators would be a bonus.
• A full driving licence- flexibility to cover on call rota of 1 in every 4 weeks
