  • Oversee contractors and service providers, ensuring compliance with operational and safety standards.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory, statutory and environmental requirements (H&S legislation, building services, electrical/mechanical standards, etc.).
  • Develop asset management strategies to improve reliability, reduce risk, and support operational continuity.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the maintenance team, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Support capital projects, upgrades, and infrastructure improvements.
  • Prepare maintenance budgets, monitor costs, and identify opportunities for efficiency and value enhancement.
  • Collaborate closely with operations, engineering, safety, and commercial teams to support business needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in maintenance leadership or maintenance management within a complex operational, industrial or regulated environment.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, building services, and/or utilities systems.
  • Excellent leadership, team development and performance management capabilities.
  • Skilled in maintenance planning, asset management and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation, risk management and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with CMMS, maintenance KPI reporting, and maintenance budgeting.
  • Strong communication, organisational and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a high‑responsibility environment where safety and reliability are paramount.
