Job summary

Center Parcs Longford Forest in Ireland is seeking a proactive Maintenance Assistant Manager to support the Accommodation and Central Buildings teams. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will oversee daily tasks, plan events, and ensure spaces are safe, functional and welcoming for guests and colleagues.

You will lead a small maintenance team, manage training and performance, and coordinate with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Qualified with hands-on experience in electrical, gas-safe, mechanical or plumbing work.
• Experience leading and developing a team.
• Well-organised with planning and computer skills.
• Full driving licence held for a minimum of 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily maintenance tasks and team coordination.
• Communicating with internal teams to plan and respond to maintenance needs.
• Supporting training, performance monitoring, and team development.
• Managing time and attendance systems to keep operations efficient.
