Job summary

Center Parcs Longford Forest in Ireland is seeking a proactive Maintenance Assistant Manager to support the Accommodation and Central Buildings teams. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will oversee daily tasks, plan events, and ensure spaces are safe, functional and welcoming for guests and colleagues.

You will lead a small maintenance team, manage training and performance, and coordinate with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Qualified with hands-on experience in electrical, gas-safe, mechanical or plumbing work.
• Experience leading and developing a team.
• Well-organised with planning and computer skills.
• Full driving licence held for a minimum of 6 months.

What You'll Be Doing

Your working hours

• Full-time contract
• You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum of 150 hours over a 4-week period. You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements
• This role includes early mornings, evenings and weekends
• Premium rate of pay for hours worked on a Sunday

About You

• Has a recognised qualification and hands‑on experience in Electrical, Gas Safe, Mechanical or Plumbing work
• Enjoys leading and developing a team in a supportive way
• Is well-organised, with good planning and computer skills
• Brings a positive, motivational approach to work and colleagues
• Full driving licence, held for a minimum of 6 months
