Lead the performance of a critical power generation asset.
Tynagh Power Station is seeking an experienced Maintenance & Engineering Manager to lead our engineering and maintenance function. You will oversee a team of skilled engineers and technicians, driving plant reliability, safety, efficiency and compliance across our CCGT facility.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proven engineering leader to play a key role in the ongoing performance and future development of one of Ireland's major power stations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a multidisciplinary maintenance and engineering team.
- Deliver safe, efficient and cost-effective maintenance strategies that maximise plant availability and reliability.
- Manage major outages, inspections and maintenance programmes.
- Oversee contractors, service agreements and engineering projects.
- Drive asset integrity, reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide technical expertise and support to plant operations.
- Manage maintenance budgets and performance reporting.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental and regulatory requirements, including PSSR.
- Promote a strong safety culture and support process safety management across the site.
About You
You will bring:
- A degree in a relevant Engineering discipline.
- Significant experience in power generation, process industry, utilities or heavy industrial environments.
- Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance, asset management and reliability practices.
- Experience managing budgets, contractors and plant outages.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and people leadership skills.
