Job summary

Cpl Healthcare is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for a highly regulated manufacturing environment in Dundalk. The role focuses on ensuring planned and reactive maintenance is completed efficiently, safely, and to cGMP standards, supporting reliability of facilities, utilities, and production equipment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining operational excellence, supporting new equipment installations, and collaborating with production teams to minimise downtime and drive

Qualifications

• Qualified in mechanical, electrical or manufacturing engineering.
• Experience maintaining equipment in regulated environments.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive and reactive maintenance on production, facility and utility equipment.
• Troubleshoot faults and work with production teams to resolve issues quickly.
• Support installation, commissioning and validation of new equipment (FAT/SAT).
• Develop SME knowledge for assigned equipment and systems.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Maintain stock levels of critical spare parts.
• Document maintenance reports, logbooks and CGMP-compliant records.
• Liaise with external contractors to ensure safe work and compliance.
