Job summary

Vickerstock, in partnership with a growing food manufacturing organisation in County Donegal, is seeking a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to operate in a modern production environment. You will diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and control faults, carry out planned maintenance, and support production lines to minimise downtime.

You will develop skills, drive reliability improvements, and collaborate with Production and Engineering teams while upholding high health & safety and food

Qualifications

• Relevant Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering qualification.
• Strong multi-skilled engineering experience.
• Experience in a maintenance environment.
• Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and control system faults
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and minimise downtime
• Support the smooth running of production lines
• Work closely with Production and Engineering teams to resolve issues
• Identify opportunities to improve plant reliability, safety and efficiency
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and engineering documentation
• Support operators with equipment training and safe working practices
• Maintain high standards of Health & Safety and food hygiene

Pay: €45,000
