Job summary

Collins McNicholas Recruitment is seeking a skilled Electrician to join a busy industrial environment in Cork. You will take ownership of essential plant maintenance, working with modern machinery, automated systems and production equipment.

You will perform electrical and mechanical maintenance of plant services, install production and facilities services, and support continuous improvements while upholding high health, safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Recognised electrical trade qualification and strong machinery knowledge.
• Good fault-finding and computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• PLC training is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Electrical and mechanical maintenance of plant services and equipment
• Installation of services for production and facilities
• Maintenance of automated systems, logistics and wastewater treatment equipment
• Support new tools, materials and equipment implementation
• Coordinate specialist support for complex maintenance
• Manage critical spare-parts requirements
• Organise maintenance workload and external resources
• Support shift operations as required
• Maintain high health, safety and environmental standards
• Contribute to continuous improvement

What You’ll Bring
