Harper Finley in Ireland seeks a skilled Field Engineer to install, service and repair industrial door and loading bay systems. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose electrical faults, and collaborate on installations.

The role includes on-call duties and strict safety/quality standards. Ideal candidates hold electrical maintenance experience in industrial settings, plus a valid Safe Pass and full driving licence.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude; industrial door experience advantageous.
• Full driving licence and Safe Pass are essential.
• Manual Handling and Working at Heights desirable (training provided).

The Company:

A well-established Irish engineering company specialising in the installation, servicing, and repair of industrial door and loading bay systems. With a strong client base across manufacturing, logistics, and industrial sectors, the company is continuing to grow and is expanding its team of field-based engineers.

The Role:

Engineers will carry out new installations, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting, including mechanical and electrical fault finding. Work is done both independently and in pairs, with occasional emergency callouts as part of the on-call rota.

The Person:

• Qualified electrician or proven experience in electrical maintenance in industrial settings

The Offer:

• Salary of €60,000- €65,000+ DOE
• 40-45 hour week (typically 8am-5pm)
• 5x overtime after 8pm and all day Saturday
• 2x overtimes for Sundays and on-call work
• On-call rota (1 in 8 weekends) with €150 stand-down payment and Minimum 3 hours pay per callout (per job)
