Job summary

Brazen Search is recruiting a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a leading food manufacturer in Limerick, Ireland. The role focuses on preventative and reactive maintenance across production and packaging lines, with opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement and reliability improvements.

The ideal candidate will have an engineering qualification and strong electrical/mechanical maintenance skills, plus experience in food manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Must have recognised engineering qualification (Level 6 Craft Certificate, NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC or equivalent).
• Multiskilled with strong electrical and mechanical maintenance experience.
• Experience in food manufacturing or fast-paced environments preferred.
• Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• PLC fault-finding experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on production and packaging equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
• Support continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment reliability and production efficiency.
• Work closely with production teams to maximise machine availability.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with food safety and health & safety standards.

We're recruiting on behalf of a leading food manufacturer in Limerick for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team. The Role

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a range of production and packaging equipment.
