Manor Farm in Ireland is seeking a reliable Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our Engineering team, ensuring reliability and efficiency of plant equipment through maintenance and rapid fault resolution. The role includes a continental shift pattern with days, nights and weekends.
You will diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and hydraulic components, and manage maintenance records in the CMMS.
We are looking for a reliable and proactive Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our Engineering team and play a key role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of plant equipment through effective maintenance and rapid fault resolution.
This role works on a continental shift pattern which includes day shifts, night shifts and weekends.
As an engineering multiskilled engineer you will carry out diagnostics, repair or replace malfunctioning electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, hydraulic components of equipment and carry out planned preventative maintenance in accordance with the preventative maintenance plan thus ensuring the plant is maintained to the highest standard.
Be proactive by routinely inspecting equipment, cabling panels, to ensure they are up to standard.
Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment to maximise plant reliability and minimise downtime.
Diagnose faults, carry out repairs, perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Support equipment installations, upgrades, commissioning activities and contractor management.
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with GMP, health & safety and company standards.
Manage maintenance activities and records through the CMMS system, including labour and materials tracking.
Proven experience within an FMCG manufacturing environment, preferably within the food industry.
Qualified Electrical or Mechanical Tradesperson, with relevant certification.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
Demonstrated ability to apply Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and respond effectively to operational priorities.
Available to work on a continental shift pattern, to include days, nights and weekends.
