This is a hands-on position that offers excellent variety, combining planned maintenance, fault diagnosis, electrical installations, compliance testing, and reactive maintenance across multiple sites.

This opportunity is ideal for a qualified electrician who enjoys a dynamic working environment, has strong problem-solving skills, and takes pride in delivering a high-quality service. The successful candidate will be given a high level of autonomy, working directly with tenants, residents, property managers, and commercial clients while ensuring all electrical works are completed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with current regulations.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform electrical maintenance, repairs, and installation works across residential, commercial, and mixed-use properties.
  • Diagnose electrical faults and implement effective, long-term solutions to minimise downtime and disruption.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities to ensure the ongoing reliability of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Conduct electrical inspections, testing, certification, and compliance checks in line with current regulations and industry standards.
  • Complete partial and full rewiring projects as required.
  • Respond to emergency call-outs, breakdowns, and reactive maintenance requests, delivering prompt and professional resolutions.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with tenants, residents, landlords, property managers, and commercial clients.
  • Plan and manage daily schedules effectively, ensuring all assigned works are completed within agreed service levels.
  • Accurately complete relevant documentation, including service reports, certification, inspection records, and maintenance logs.
  • Maintain full compliance with company health and safety policies, electrical regulations, and industry best practices.

Requirements:
  • Qualified Electrician with a recognised trade qualification.
  • Qualified Certifier status is essential.
  • Minimum of 4 years' post-qualification experience in a similar role.
  • Previous experience in property maintenance, facilities management, housing maintenance, or commercial property environments is highly desirable.
  • Strong technical knowledge across testing, inspection, fault-finding, maintenance, repairs, and rewiring.
  • Demonstrable understanding of current electrical regulations, compliance requirements, and certification standards.
  • Capable of working independently, prioritising workloads, and managing multiple jobs simultaneously.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to represent the company professionally at all times.
  • Reliable, organised, and committed to delivering high standards of workmanship.
  • Full clean driving licence preferred.
Why Apply?

This position is an excellent fit for an electrician seeking a more varied and rewarding role away from repetitive site-based work.
