Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a Maintenance Coordinator/planning/maintenance administration role in aviation.
• Experience coordinating maintenance/inspection activities in a regulated environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; detail-oriented.

Maintenance Coordinator Join CAE as a Maintenance Coordinator within our Borescope Inspection Services team in Dublin, Ireland. Reporting to the 145 Department Manager, you will support the planning, coordination, and administration of FAA/EASA-approved borescope inspection activities performed globally. The role involves coordinating inspectors, managing maintenance documentation, liaising with customers and operational stakeholders, and supporting compliance, payroll, and invoicing activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the satisfactory completion and certification of maintenance activities in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain a strong focus on aviation safety and collaborative working in accordance with the Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE).
• Communicate directly with customers and operators to understand, process, and coordinate maintenance and inspection requirements.
• Review maintenance bookings and allocate suitably authorized Certifying Staff to planned maintenance and inspection activities.
• Generate, review, approve, and distribute work packages and Job Cards based on customer requirements and approved maintenance data.
• Coordinate travel and accommodation arrangements for Certifying Staff and Borescope Inspectors.
• Liaise with customer representatives, onsite teams, and operational stakeholders to arrange access requirements, equipment preparation, and facility support.
• Monitor inspection and maintenance activities and maintain clear communication with customers throughout service delivery.
• Review completed maintenance records and returning work packages to ensure documentation is accurate and complete before archiving.
• Archive project documentation in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor recurrent training, assessments, document tracking records, and compliance requirements.
• Maintain monthly compliance and calibration tracking records within company systems, including SharePoint.
• Support the preparation of customer proposals and quotations.
• Assist with project invoicing activities and the coordination of monthly payroll processes.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with customers, authorities, and internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and the ongoing development of the organization.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in aviation, engineering, technical studies, business operations, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Three years of experience in a Maintenance Coordinator, Production Coordinator, Planning, Maintenance Administration, or similar role within an airline, aircraft maintenance, aircraft component maintenance, MRO, or related aviation environment.
• Experience coordinating maintenance or inspection activities within a regulated environment.
• Experience working with technical documentation, maintenance records, and operational work packages.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a changing operational environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when managing regulatory and compliance-related documentation.
• Ability to work a rotating 4-on / 4-off shift pattern consisting of day-based early and late shifts.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment with approximately 50% onsite attendance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting FAA, EASA, Part-145, Continuing Airworthiness, or aircraft maintenance operations.
• Experience coordinating borescope inspections or other aircraft engine maintenance activities.
• Knowledge of aircraft maintenance processes, approved maintenance data, and certification requirements.
• Experience monitoring training, compliance, calibration, or document control records.
• Experience supporting payroll, invoicing, customer proposals, or operational administration processes.
• Experience using SharePoint or similar document management systems.
• Experience working directly with customers, regulatory authorities, and operational stakeholders in an aviation environment.
