Responsibilities include prioritising tasks, estimating repair costs for customers, using hand tools, and maintaining high service standards with strong communication skills.

• Specify and purchase suitable materials for maintenance work.
• Attend internal meetings to set priorities and tasks.
• Inspect appliances and identify causes of breakdowns.
• Provide rough cost estimates for repairs to customers.
• Repair or replace faulty components with customer approval.
• Advise customers on proper appliance use.
• Perform painting tasks and surface prep for protection.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team.

Maintenance Assistant - Dublin based (part-time)

We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Maintenance Assistant to join our team. In this position, the role involves performing a variety of maintenance tasks, repairs, and general upkeep to maintain a safe and functional environment.

Skills, Requirements and Responsibilities;

• Responsible for the maintenance of our properties, compiling standard specifications /procedures for each item.
• Responsible for specifying and purchasing the most suitable material to execute the maintenance.
• Attends, schedules, and facilitates internal meetings to help establish priorities and assign tasks
• Examine customers’ appliances and identify the cause of appliance breakdowns.
• Provide rough estimates to customers on how much it would cost to repair damaged or malfunctioning appliances.
• Repair or replace defective or damaged appliance components upon approval from customers.
• Advise customers on how to use appliances correctly.
• The ability to use various hand tools.
• Perform painting tasks, including surface preparation, priming, and finishing to maintain aesthetics and protection of walls, furniture, and outdoor areas.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
