Premier Suites Dublin Leeson Street is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to perform general maintenance, painting, and basic plumbing/electrical tasks across both Leeson Street and Ballsbridge properties. You will work under the Senior Maintenance Assistant in a busy hospitality setting, ensuring safety and guest satisfaction.

You should have at least 1 year in hotel maintenance, be able to work up to 40 hours per week, and possess a proactive, problem-solving approach with strong communication

Qualificações

• Experience in a hotel maintenance department preferred.
• Ability to perform general maintenance tasks across multiple areas (painting, plumbing, electrical).
• Good communication and customer service skills in business English.

Responsabilidades

• Provide general maintenance across both properties and grounds.
• Carry out painting, basic plumbing and electrical tasks.
• Notify Senior Maintenance Assistant for issues requiring escalation.
• Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.
• Handle maintenance queries and complaints professionally and promptly.
• Keep guest facilities and public areas clean and tidy.

The Properties

PREMIER SUITES Dublin Leeson Street is located in the centre of Georgian Dublin, around the corner from St Stephens Green and a short stroll from Grafton Street. PREMIER SUITES PLUS Dublin Leeson Street is a luxury hotel alternative, offering lavish suites or refined penthouse apartments. The property consists of one- & two-bedroom Suites, Studio Suites and Penthouse Suites.

PREMIER SUITES Ballsbridge located a short distance from Leeson St on Merrion Road in the upmarket area of Dublin 4, our historic Victorian building is a luxury all-suite hotel. This luxury property is ideal for the longer staying guest, and consists of 49 contemporary studio, one and two bedroom suites with fitted kitchens, blissful bedrooms and stylish bathrooms and has a superb location next to the RDS and the Aviva Stadium.

The Role

This role will look after general maintenance in our properties in Leeson Street and Ballsbridge covering general maintenance, plumbing, painting with a mix of preventative maintenance and repairs.

The successful candidate will be professional and flexible with the ability to problem solve and work on their own initiative in a busy environment.

About the role

What is involved in the role:

• Reporting into the Senior Maintenance Assistant you will provide General Maintenance across both properties and grounds

• General duties will include general maintenance, painting , basic plumbing / electrical.

• To notify the Senior Maintenance Assistant should a maintenance problem require further attention.

• Ensuring that a safe and secure environment for guests, team members and visitors is maintained.

• Ensuring that all maintenance queries and complaints are dealt with in a professional and efficient manner.

• Ensuring that our guest facilities and public areas are maintained and kept clean and tidy .

What are we looking for :

• At least 1 years’ previous experience in a hotel’s maintenance department.

• Must have permission to work and be available to work up to 40 hours per week.

• Previous experience of working in a standards-driven environment.

• Basic knowledge and understanding of maintenance trade would be essential.

• A creative and solutions-focused approach when problem-solving.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills. The ability to use business English verbally and through email correspondence is essential.

• Skill in the use of related tools (including hand & electrical tools).

• Current Safe Pass would be beneficial.
