Job summary

Elk Recruitment's client in Tullamore is hiring a Machine Operator for a permanent, full-time role. You will monitor all machines, complete setups and clean downs promptly, and ensure quality by following Standard Operating Procedures and work instructions.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is beneficial
• Willingness to learn and undergo training
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical and pneumatic components
• Comfortable with manual labour and heavy lifting

Responsibilities

• Monitoring all machines as per relevant procedures
• Ensuring set ups and clean downs are completed in a timely manner
• Ensuring quality in all aspects of work by following SOPs and SWIs and maintaining compliance with all quality requirements
• Identifying process, equipment and documentation improvements where possible and take part in improvement projects as assigned
• Ensuring equipment and auxiliary equipment are cleaned after every set up and floors, storage areas, etc., are maintained to a high standard
