Job summary

Global Professional Consultants Ireland is seeking an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor for a major project with a leading contractor. You will manage financial aspects in a Hyperscale Data Centre project in Belgium, reporting to the project’s Commercial Manager. Qualifications

M&E Quantity Surveyor

M&E Quantity Surveyor required for one of Ireland's largest M&E contractors for a Hyperscale Data Centre project in Belgium. You will manage and oversee the financial and contractual aspects of the project, reporting to the project's Commercial Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Validate tender with Project Manager/Director post-award
• Assist in preparing project CCS and cash flow forecasts
• Compile monthly reports per company standards
• Conduct site measures and ensure timely submission of claims
• Address contract costs, sales, and contribution concerns
• Attend commercial and subcontractor meetings
• Draft pre- and post-contract correspondence with PM/Director
• Manage client invoicing and payments to subcontractors
• Liaise with the Financial Department on reporting
• Resolve disputes with clients and subcontractors
• Monitor site procurement and reporting

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related field
• 3 years’ + experience in construction Quantity Surveying
• Working toward chartership or professional certification (desirable)
• Strong knowledge of Mechanical Systems or Electrical Systems
• Data Centre experience is an advantage, but not essential
