Job summary

Conack is seeking an experienced M&E Coordinator to support major construction projects based in Galway and the west region. You will coordinate mechanical and electrical packages from design through commissioning and handover while working with a growing team.

Responsibilities include coordinating M&E designs, managing site teams and subcontractors, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery, and assisting with snagging, commissioning, and handover for large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering or relevant industry experience.
• 5+ years' experience in an M&E Coordinator or Building Services role.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems within construction.
• Experience coordinating M&E subcontractors and consultants.
• Knowledge of commissioning, snagging, and handover processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Mechanical & Electrical packages across construction projects in Galway and the wider western region.
• Manage and support site teams and subcontractors on all M&E-related activities.
• Ensure M&E works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
• Coordinate design-build M&E packages to meet project and client requirements.
• Monitor programme, budget, and progress across M&E packages.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and project teams throughout delivery.
• Support project teams with snagging, commissioning, and final handover.
• Manage and coordinate M&E snag lists and close-out activities.
• Assist with retentions, subcontractor close-out, and final project completion.
• Support estimating and tender reviews when required.
• Help identify and resolve technical or coordination issues across projects.
