Job summary

Conack in Galway is seeking an experienced M&E Coordinator to support major construction projects across the region. You will coordinate mechanical and electrical packages from design through commissioning and handover while working with an ambitious and growing team.

The role offers the opportunity to work across high-profile projects, coordinating M&E packages from design through to commissioning and handover, with a focus on delivering safe, on-time outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in an M&E Coordinator or Building Services role.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems within construction.
• Experience coordinating M&E subcontractors and consultants.
• Knowledge of commissioning, snagging, and handover processes.
• Electrical project experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Mechanical & Electrical packages across construction projects in Galway and the wider western region.
• Manage and support site teams and subcontractors on all M&E-related activities.
• Ensure M&E works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
• Coordinate design-build M&E packages to meet project and client requirements.
• Monitor programme, budget, and progress across M&E packages.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and project teams throughout delivery.
• Support project teams with snagging, commissioning, and final handover.
• Manage and coordinate M&E snag lists and close-out activities.
• Assist with retentions, subcontractor close-out, and final project completion.
• Support estimating and tender reviews when required.
• Help identify and resolve technical or coordination issues across projects.

What We're Looking For
