Job summary

Viatris is hiring a Logistics Specialist for a fixed-term 18-month role at our Northern Cross facility in Dublin, Ireland. You will be the go-to expert for logistics operations, SAP support, interface issues, and 3PL escalations, ensuring accuracy and timely service delivery.

You will monitor SAP, WMS, TMS and EDI interfaces, perform data-driven analysis with Power BI and Excel, and drive Lean improvements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Science or related qualification is beneficial.
• Power BI, Power Query, advanced Excel, data visualisation or dashboard development experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience with WMS, TMS, EDI, IDoc monitoring, interface troubleshooting or logistics control-tower environments is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Good Distribution Practice, regulated pharmaceutical supply chains, temperature-controlled logistics, serialization or track-and-trace requirements is beneficial.
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA, SAP EWM, SAP TM or SAP master-data governance is desirable.
• Lean, Six Sigma, process mapping, standard work or structured problem-solving experience is beneficial.
• Comfort using digital tools, automation and AI-enabled productivity tools to improve analysis, reporting, documentation and exception management.
• Ability to turn operational data into clear recommendations, actions and stakeholder updates.

Responsibilities

• Provide first point of contact and subject matter expert for logistics operations, SAP support, inventory accuracy issues and 3PL escalations.
• Monitor SAP, WMS, TMS and EDI interfaces, IDoc and message failures, inventory postings and master data issues.
• Collaborate with 3PLs and internal teams to ensure service delivery aligned with SLAs and KPIs.
• Support SAP inventory accuracy through stock reconciliation and quality checks.
• Use Power BI and advanced Excel to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Lead root-cause analysis and continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Support GDP and quality-compliant distribution processes, SOP adherence and audits.
• Act as a functional expert for distribution processes, EDI management and SAP logistics execution.
