Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding in Leixlip, Co. Kildare, is seeking a Logistics Support Specialist to monitor inbound and outbound traffic, ensure SLA adherence, and communicate delays to the onsite customer.

The role requires strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to logistics coordination. The ideal candidate holds a Leaving certificate with excellent Microsoft Excel and Office skills and at least two years in a customer-facing logistics role.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand & adhere to the customer’s Service Level Agreements, Service Level Guidelines & Standard Operating Procedures.
• Maintain reports for the customer including KPI carrier reports.
• Coordinate transport for inbound shipments and arrange trade show collections as needed.
• Gatekeeper for e-parts on all critical shipments.
• Communicate delays, early arrivals or damages to the customer promptly.
• Work with suppliers, customs & vendors to overcome delays and ensure factory optimisation.
