Kilsaran in Ireland is recruiting a Logistics Coordinator for our plant in Brownstown, Kilcullen, Co. Kildare. You will plan and execute transport and delivery schedules, liaise with production, drivers and customers, and help ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of systems and detailed administration.
• Ability to prioritise, schedule and think logically.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily transport and delivery schedules.
• Process orders by telephone, email, fax, or in person.
• Prepare delivery dockets, schedules and assign drivers.
• Ensure correct products and quantities are delivered on time.
• Maintain shipping records and related paperwork.
• Communicate with drivers, customers, production and sales.
• Meet targets for truck utilisation, costs and empty journeys.
• Instruct drivers on working hours, breaks and rest periods.
