Job summary

Sysco Ireland is seeking a Transport Clerk to join our Dublin Distribution Centre. The role involves coordinating across sales, transport and operations to ensure daily dispatches and depot processes run smoothly.

You will manage driver paperwork, oversee goods movement, and uphold health, safety and compliance standards while coaching a delivery team and improving performance where needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in the food distribution industry is advantageous.
• Competent in IT systems including Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Strong knowledge of transport regulations (Tachograph, Work Time Directive) and HACCP guidelines.
• Proven ability to collaborate and motivate a team to deliver high standards of service.
• Attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to make independent judgments.

Responsibilities

• Liaise across sales, transport and operations to ensure smooth daily workflows.
• Ensure efficient dispatch of routes and products to customers on a daily basis.
• Co-ordinate depot activities to maintain smooth operations and adherence to procedures.
• Collect driver paperwork, ensure invoices are signed and filed correctly.
• Update records of driver paperwork errors and manage returns as needed.
• Manage incoming and outgoing goods and oversee backhaul collections daily.
• Collaborate with Operations Supervision and Management and communicate concerns promptly.
