Job summary

Sysco Corp. in Dublin is hiring a Transport Clerk to join the Dublin Distribution Centre. The role involves liaising with sales, transport and operations, and handling depot administration to support efficient dispatch of routes and products.

You will collect driver paperwork, ensure invoices are signed, maintain records, and work with management to resolve issues. A focus on compliance with transport regulations and HACCP-related guidelines will be essential.

Qualifications

• Experience within the Food distribution industry is advantageous.
• Competent in the use of IT systems including Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Strong knowledge of Department of Transport regulations (Tachograph legislation, Work Time Directive etc.).
• Proven ability to collaborate and motivate a team to deliver high standards of service.
• Attention to detail and accuracy with ability to make independent judgments.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work to tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Ensures efficient dispatch of all routes and products to customers on a daily basis.
• Co-ordination of depot activities ensuring the smooth running of depot.
• Ensuring delivery procedures and policies are adhered to at all times.
• Collect all paperwork from drivers and ensure invoices are separated and signed on all pages.

• Collaborate with Operations Supervision and Management and communicate concerns promptly.
