Job summary

Anord Mardix, a Flex company, is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in Dundalk, Ireland. You will report to the Logistics Manager and play a key role within the Supply Chain, driving Continuous Improvement initiatives and overseeing the day-to-day logistics operations to meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities include coordinating drivers, dispatch, routing, compliance with transport policies, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated logistics experience, including team oversight.
• Strong MS Office skills with emphasis on Excel.
• Experience coordinating shipping, freight and customs.
• Excellent problem solving and decision making under pressure.
• Good knowledge of ERP/WMS systems and planning processes.

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate a team of drivers and vehicles to improve efficiency.
• Dispatch, route and track delivery movements and loads.
• Ensure transport policy and regulatory compliance.
• Provide leadership for logistics activities and customer requirements.
• Manage imports/exports and maintain records including PODs.
• Maintain vehicle maintenance schedules and safety checks.
• Support the Logistics Manager in absence and HS investigations.
• Prepare export documentation and domestic delivery notes.

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an experienced Logistics Coordinator located in Dundalk, Ireland. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Logistics Coordinator will play a key role within the Supply Chain department. You will be responsible for driving Continuous Improvement Programmes throughout the business and will have knowledge of the day-to-day operations of Logistics.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Co-ordinating a team of drivers and vehicles, to reduce movements & improve efficiency.
• Responsibility for all the dispatching, routing and tracking of delivery vehicles.
• Ensuring company compliance of all transport policies, legislation and procedures, including securing the load for transport.
• Provide leadership and direction for all logistics activities to ensure compliance with customer and company requirements are met at the best value.
• Manage and control all imports and exports ensuring compliance with customs regulations / procedures.
• Ensuring that all transport fleet vehicles are properly maintained and serviced.
• Maintaining accurate administrative records, including following up the PODs
• Help lead the team in the Logistics Managers absence.
• Responsibility for all H&S investigations involving transport.
• Identifying operational issues, potential problems and opportunities.
• Preparation of domestic delivery notes & international export documentation.

Knowledge And Skills Required

• Demonstrable Logistics experience (ideally with experience of managing employees).
• Proficient in all MS Office programmes, strong on Excel.
• Experience in managing shipping agents, freight forwarders and booking freight.
• Great problem-solving skills, individually and within a team
• Ability to work flexibly and to make decisions quickly.
• Good knowledge of ERP/WMS.
• Strong organisational skills for planning schedules, journeys and loads under pressure whilst maintaining customer demands.
• APICS/IIPMM/Logistics Qualification-Desirable
