Job summary

MCS Group is seeking a Loan Origination Business Analyst contractor in Dublin City Centre to support a major lending transformation programme. You will work across business and technology teams to map lending journeys and deliver new end-to-end solutions.

Experience in banking or financial services is essential, with knowledge of loan origination, credit and lending platforms; nCino exposure is highly advantageous. You'll collaborate across workshops, design, testing and UAT.

Loan Origination Business Analyst

Day Rate Contract

MCS Group are looking for a Loan Origination Business Analyst contractor to support a major lending transformation programme.

This role will focus heavily on loan origination and credit processes, working across business and technology teams to understand existing lending journeys, identify improvements and help deliver new solutions across the end-to-end lending lifecycle.

Experience within banking or financial services is essential, with strong knowledge of loan origination, credit and lending platforms. Previous experience with nCino would be highly advantageous.

The Role

You will work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, architects, developers and QA to translate lending requirements into practical technology solutions.

You'll be involved across the full delivery lifecycle, from initial workshops and process mapping through to solution design, testing and UAT.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Gathering and documenting requirements across loan origination, lending and credit processes
• Mapping current and future-state lending journeys and identifying areas for improvement

What We're Looking For

You'll ideally have:

• Strong Business Analysis experience within banking, lending or financial services
• Excellent understanding of the end-to-end loan origination lifecycle is essential
• Strong knowledge of areas including credit assessment, underwriting, approvals, documentation, collateral and drawdown
• Experience working on loan origination or lending platform implementations
• Hands-on experience with nCino would be highly desirable
• Experience across retail and/or corporate lending products
• Strong requirements gathering, workshop facilitation and process mapping experience
• Experience producing user stories, BRDs, workflows and functional requirements
• Confidence working between business and technical teams
• Experience supporting solution design, testing and UAT
• Experience working across Agile and Waterfall delivery environments
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to challenge and drive decisions

Experience with other core banking or lending platforms such as Finacle, Flexcube, T24, TCS BaNCS or FinnOne would also be beneficial.
