Job summary

Bon Secours Health System seeks an EHR Stabilisation and Optimisation Manager to lead live-site stabilisation and improvement initiatives across Bon Secours facilities. You will govern, prioritise, and deliver plans to enhance system stability, adoption, and operational excellence after go-live.

The role collaborates with IT, clinical leadership and revenue cycle teams, establishing playbooks, readiness criteria and an Operational Excellence Forum to sustain improvements.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent in healthcare, information technology, business, project management or a related discipline.
• Postgraduate qualification in healthcare management, business, technology, informatics or project/change management.
• Recognised project management qualification or equivalent experience (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Lean).

Responsibilities

• Lead stabilisation and optimisation initiatives for live BonsConnect sites, initially Limerick and Tralee, with governance, plans and deliverables.
• Prioritise live-site work with IT Programme Director and provide progress, risk and decision reporting.
• Collaborate with site leadership, clinical and IT teams, Health Informatics, Revenue Cycle, operational managers and vendors.
• Maintain a structured portfolio of live-site issues and optimisation opportunities, triaging and tracking until closure.
• Develop charters and plans for stabilisation/optimisation, including objectives, milestones and dependencies.
• Coordinate priority workstreams: workflow improvement, system configuration, testing, reporting, training, and communications.
• Define stabilisation framework with entry/exit criteria, ownership, and escalation routes.
• Establish an Operational Excellence Forum for site teams to review health indicators and outcomes.
• Create benefits realisation plans and monitor delivery across sites.
• Ensure smooth transition of improvements to business-as-usual operations.
• Prepare concise status reports for governance forums and maintain RAID/change logs.
