Job summary

Optum Ireland is seeking an EHR Systems Specialist for Ancillary Clinical Applications. The role focuses on support, configuration, and optimization of ancillary systems integrated with the core EHR platform, ensuring reliability and performance while improving workflows and clinician satisfaction.

Ideal candidates will have a solid IT/health informatics background and experience in ITSM, incident management, and collaboration with vendors and clinical teams.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or a related field.
• Demonstrated understanding of ITSM platforms and incident/problem/change management processes.
• Experience with clinical systems and hospital operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support, maintenance, and optimization of ancillary clinical applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate workflow needs into system solutions and enhancements.
• Triage requests, manage incidents, and perform root-cause analysis for fixes.
• Assist with upgrades, patches, integrations, and change deployments.
• Document workflows, configurations, and testing procedures.
