Job summary

Talbot Fitness at Talbot Hotel Carlow is seeking an experienced Leisure Club Manager to lead and grow a busy, member-driven facility. You will drive service excellence, manage the team, and ensure hygiene and safety standards while hitting financial targets.

The role reports to the General Manager and involves varying shifts to suit peak times and member needs. A passion for memberships and a results-driven approach are essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years' previous experience managing a successful Leisure Club is desired.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and strong business acumen.
• Understanding of revenue generation, cost control and targets.

Responsibilities

• The day-to-day running and operation of Talbot Fitness.
• Ensure professional, friendly service for all members and guests.
• Build strong relationships with members and maintain hygiene standards.
• Achieve budgets and targets, manage plant and equipment maintenance.
• Be innovative and adapt offerings in agreement with the team.
• Coordinate and manage the team and rosters to meet business needs.
