Talbot Hotel Carlow, part of the Talbot Collection, is recruiting an experienced General Manager to oversee day-to-day hotel operations and the Dome Family Entertainment Centre in coordination with the Dome's General Manager.

The successful candidate will manage all departments, drive revenue, control costs, lead a team across multiple sites, and represent the Talbot brand in the local community. Senior leadership experience in a 4* hotel is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a General Manager/Deputy General Manager of a 4* Hotel Operation.
• Proven record of managing a team successfully to achieve results.
• Be highly motivated and driven to achieve targets.
• Excellent business acumen, commercial and financial awareness.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent decision making and negotiation skills.
• Excellent time management and organisation skills.

Responsabilités

• Oversee all hotel departments, maximizing operational efficiency and service quality.
• Ensure consistent guest satisfaction and exceptional service throughout the hotel and the Dome.
• Assume responsibility for business decisions, operational management, and sales & marketing activity.
• Plan and operate within annual budget guidelines to maximize revenue and control costs.
• Monitor productivity and payroll costs, ensuring efficient resource planning for both hotel and Dome.
• Collaborate with the Dome Manager and Dome General Manager to align operations.
