Job summary

Talbot Fitness at Talbot Hotel Carlow invites an experienced Leisure Club Manager to lead our busy, members-focused facility. You will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional service, and drive membership engagement.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will manage rosters, maintain equipment, and push budgets and targets while keeping hygiene standards. A passion for hospitality and team leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience managing a successful Leisure Club.
• A qualification in people management would be an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal skills are essential.
• Strong business acumen with knowledge of revenue generation and cost control.
• Plant maintenance experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operation of Talbot Fitness.
• Deliver professional, friendly service to members and guests.
• Build strong relationships with members and drive membership engagement.
• Maintain hygiene standards to the highest level.
• Achieve agreed budgets and sales targets.
• Ensure plant and equipment are well maintained.
• Foster teamwork and effective communication within the leisure club.
• Coordinate rosters and manage staff in line with business needs.
• Adapt product offerings in line with trends and hotel initiatives.
