Job summary

CPL Group is recruiting a Legal Secretary to join its corporate team in Dublin. You will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support, handling files, billing, documentation and day-to-day operations.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years’ experience in a corporate/legal environment, with strong organisational skills, attention to detail and excellent communication. Experience with iManage and KeyHouse is advantageous.

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years' experience as a Legal Secretary in a corporate environment.
  • Experience supporting senior legal professionals in a fast-paced setting.
  • Experience using a legal case management system such as iManage or similar.
  • Experience using a legal billing system (KeyHouse or equivalent is advantageous).
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level legal secretarial and administrative support to the corporate team.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of legal files using the firm's case management system.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files and documentation.
  • Prepare legal documents, correspondence and meeting materials.
  • Coordinate monthly client billing, ensuring invoices are processed accurately and on time.
  • Manage complex diaries, scheduling meetings and resolving conflicts.
  • Liaise professionally with clients, counsel and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and prepare detailed itineraries.
  • Process time entries and expense claims.
  • Ensure all documentation is produced accurately and efficiently.
  • Handle confidential information with the highest level of discretion.

We are currently recruiting for a leading Irish commercial law firm seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join its busy corporate team in Dublin. The Role

You will provide comprehensive legal secretarial and administrative support to the corporate team, ensuring the smooth management of files, documentation, billing and day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3–5+ years' experience as a Legal Secretary, preferably within a Corporate department.
  • Experience supporting senior legal professionals in a fast-paced commercial environment.
  • Experience using a legal case management system such as iManage or similar.
  • Experience using a legal billing system (KeyHouse or equivalent is advantageous).
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
