Job summary

Rose Valley Management is seeking a Leasing Professional to guide potential residents through the move-in process, with a focus on phone inquiries, property tours, and timely follow-ups. You will work to meet leasing targets while delivering strong customer service and maintaining the property’s presentation and market knowledge.

Ideal candidates will have leasing experience, a valid driver’s license, and excellent communication skills to engage prospects and residents alike.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of active leasing experience in multi-family property.
• Strong communication and sales skills.
• Able to work weekends.
• Knowledge of Appfolio software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates excellent communication with prospects, residents, vendors, and onsite/corporate team members via email and phone.
• Conducts tours of community, vacant apartments or models and amenities.
• Responsible for ensuring apartments are ready for show; maintain clean and orderly work areas and office; curb appeal awareness.
• Sends thank you cards and follows up with prospects that did not rent.
• Markets and leases apartments to prospective residents and supports property’s marketing plan.
• Documents prospect activity in compliance with Fair Housing Laws and weekly reports.
• Utilizes sales and closing techniques per established guidelines.
• Responsible for meeting monthly leasing goals.
• Verifies rental applications and submits them to Community Manager for approval/rejection.
• Prepares move-in packet.
• Keeps up-to-date market knowledge and competitive properties.
• Develops resident retention programs under Community Manager guidance.
• Provides excellent customer service to existing residents.
• Completes special projects as assigned by Community Manager.
• Brings concerns to Community Manager’s attention.
• Daily follow up of renewals and tenant delinquency.
• Adheres to leasing agent policies and procedures.
• Handles inquiries, tours, applications, deposits, verification, and follow-ups.
