Job summary

Rose Valley Management is seeking a Service Technician to deliver hospitality-driven living experiences across our community in Annadale, VA. You will perform preventative and routine maintenance in common areas and resident units, while delivering outstanding customer service.

You’ll handle plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, painting, and appliance work, participate in on-call rotations, and attend trainings to stay sharp. Strong communication and initiative are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance, drywall, painting, and snow removal.
• Customer service first attitude.
• Must have reliable transportation for on-call emergencies.
• Experience working in maintenance in an apartment community.
• On call REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

• Repair common areas and apartments (routine and preventative) across plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, walls, painting, appliances.
• Oversee building curb appeal through exterior inspections, cleaning, and grounds maintenance.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and ensure satisfaction.
• Daily cleaning duties.
• Tackle special projects as assigned.
• Apply preventative measures to reduce future problems and safety hazards.
• Attend team meetings, workshops, and training sessions as required.
• Be available in an on-call rotation for emergencies.

JOB SUMMARY:

A Rose Valley Management Service Technician is an essential team member who is responsible for providing excellent customer service while performing preventative and routine maintenance throughout the property grounds and in resident units. In this role you’ll help deliver high-quality, hospitality-driven living experiences to our community located in Annadale, VA.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

• Responsible for common area and apartment repairs (routine and preventative) in the scope of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, wall repairs, painting, plumbing and appliances.
• Further oversight of the building’s curb appeal though building exterior inspections, cleaning, and grounds maintenance is required.
• Customer service and attention to detail are critical skills to ensure the satisfaction of the community’s residents.
• Responsible for daily cleaning
• Special projects as assigned
• Apply preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems
• Fix potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
• Able to attend team meetings, workshops and training sessions as required.
• Will be required to be in an on-call rotation with other employees for emergency work orders.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Able to stand and walk inside and outside in all weather
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to endure walking, squatting, bending, balancing, climbing (ladders), kneeling, crawling and prolonged standing

Additionally, prior experience working in maintenance at an apartment community is a must and strong written, verbal and computer skills are preferred.

Salary Range: $25 - $27/hr plus monthly commission
