Job summary
Gaia Talent is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer/Team Lead to join a Galway based Water & Utilities consultancy. You will lead the design and delivery of major water, wastewater and utility infrastructure projects, providing technical direction and mentoring to engineers.
You will manage multi-disciplinary teams, coordinate with clients and contractors, review designs and reports, and support bids and business development while ensuring QA/QC and safety standards are met.
Qualifications
- Level 8 Honours Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related discipline.
- 8+ years' experience in water, wastewater, utilities or civil infrastructure.
- Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartership (Eng. Ireland).
Responsibilities
- Lead design and delivery of water, wastewater, drainage and utility projects.
- Act as technical lead on Design-Build and traditional contracts.
- Manage outputs, resources and programs for successful delivery.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and liaise with clients and stakeholders.
- Review designs, drawings, calculations and technical reports.
- Support bids and client relationship management.
