Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Senior Manager for Vendor Management Services (VMS) & Managed Service Providers (MSP) to lead the non-FTE lifecycle and establish a best-in-class Contingent Workforce Management Center of Excellence. You will steer VMS software selection, manage a large external talent spend, and ensure alignment with HR and Compliance policies.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master’s degree or CPSM/CIPS preferred.
10+ years in procurement or supply chain, with leadership experience.
Strong knowledge of B2B legal frameworks and co-employment risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

Define target operating model and VMS goals for cost, compliance, and talent.
Chair the CWM CoE and align commercial and HR policies.
Oversee VMS software licensing, funding and configuration; manage pipelines.
Optimize MSP/supplier network, standardise rate cards and lead MSP/MSP negotiations.
Enforce worker classifications (1099, W-2, SOW) and tenure limits to avoid co-employment.
Partner with EHS on safety, training, and background checks for contractors.
Oversee onboarding to off-boarding lifecycle and asset retrieval with IT and Hiring Managers.
Audit supplier margins and enforce volume discounts in the spend category.
