Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Senior Manager, Vendor Management Services (VMS) & Managed Service Providers (MSP) to own the non-FTE lifecycle, build a Contingent Workforce Management CoE, and optimize the external talent supply chain.

You will lead the selection and implementation of VMS software, manage a substantial spend, and ensure procurement aligns with HR and Compliance policies across a global MSP ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required; Master’s or professional certifications preferred.
• Minimum 10 years in procurement or supply chain, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience developing global category strategies and VMS/MSP programmes.
• Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Deep understanding of B2B legal frameworks and co-employment risk mitigation.
• Proficiency in VMS technology and data standards; knowledge of total landed cost.

Responsibilities

• Define the target operating model and VMS goals related to cost, compliance, and talent.
• Chair the CWM CoE and balance commercial and HR policy control.
• Own VMS software licensing, funding, and configuration.
• Optimize MSP network, standardise rate cards, and lead SLA enforcement.
• Ensure proper worker classification and tenure to avoid employment risk.
• Partner with EHS on safety trainings and background checks.
• Oversee onboarding to off-boarding processes and asset retrieval.
• Coordinate with IT and Hiring Managers for seamless integration with systems.
• Audit supplier margins and enforce volume discounts on spend categories.
• Track KPIs, report program performance to senior management.
