Job summary

Veterinary ST is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon ready to take the next step into a Lead Vet position at a new site in Dublin.

You will play a key role in developing the clinic and leading the veterinary team. The role offers a base salary around €60,000 with a performance bonus up to 20% and a sign-on of €2,000–€4,000. Relocation support and CPD opportunities are included.

Qualifications

• Qualified veterinary surgeon with leadership experience.
• Eligible for veterinary registration in Ireland.
• Experience leading a clinical team is preferred.

Performance Bonus

The performance scheme allows the Lead Vet to earn up to 20% of their base salary.

The bonus is calculated quarterly and is linked to clinic performance, including revenue targets, employment costs and cost of goods.

Up to 60% of the annual bonus opportunity can be earned across Q1–Q3, with the remaining 40% following Q4/full-year performance.

The scheme is cumulative, meaning performance can potentially be recovered later in the year if an earlier quarterly target is missed.

For employees joining during the year, the bonus is calculated pro rata based on eligible months of service.
