Job summary

Ryanair is currently recruiting for a Technical Services Lead Systems Engineer. Reporting to the Technical Services Systems Manager, the Lead Systems Engineer's responsibilities will include providing SME for Aircraft Systems (excluding Avionics & Powerplant) and liaising with Boeing/Airbus to resolve technical issues.

You will support Maintrol; Base Maintenance and Line Maintenance, and help the Systems department meet core objectives while supporting fleet reliability.

Qualifications

• The successful candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in an airline/MRO role.
• Detailed technical knowledge of Boeing/Airbus design and maintenance.
• Knowledge of EASA Part CAMO; Part M; Part 145; Part 21.
• AMOS experience beneficial.
• Flexible approach with ability to work independently in a demanding environment.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Strong time management and task prioritisation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide SME for all Aircraft Systems (excludes Avionics & Powerplant).
• Liaise with Boeing/Airbus and equipment manufacturers on resolving technical issues.
• Provide technical support to Maintrol; Base Maintenance and Line Maintenance.
• Support Systems dept to deliver core objectives.
• Support Reliability in identifying and resolving fleet repetitive failures.
• Review and implement ADs, SBs and other technical documentation.
• Review and close QA, ARC, ACAM and NAA findings with corrective actions.

• Liaising with Boeing/Airbus and equipment manufactures on resolution of technical issues
• Providing technical support to Maintrol; Base Maintenance and Line Maintenance
• Supporting the Systems department to deliver on their core objectives
• Support of the Reliability section in the identification and resolution of repetitive failures across the fleet
• Review and implementation of AD's, SB's and other technical documentation
• Review and closure of QA, ARC, ACAM and NAA findings with implementation of corrective and preventative actions

• The successful person will have at least 5 years' experience working in an airline/MRO in a relevant role
• Detailed technical knowledge of Boeing/Airbus design and maintenance
• A knowledge of EASA regulations - Part CAMO; Part M; Part 145; Part 21
• AMOS experience beneficial
