Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Principal Structural Engineer to join our Dublin office. You will lead the structural design within a multidiscipline team and oversee all structural aspects of diverse projects, communicating complex concepts clearly to clients and internal teams.

You will prepare reports, fee proposals and quality submissions, and engage with internal/external parties. A Chartered Engineer with relevant experience is essential, and knowledge of Robot or Tekla is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer with Engineers Ireland or Institution of Structural Engineers.
• Strong communication and ability to prioritise and manage workload.
• Experience delivering structural engineering design.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Experience using structural design software (Robot, Tekla) is advantageous.
• Experience as Project C&S engineer on multi-discipline projects.

Responsibilities

• Act as Lead Structural Engineer in multidisciplinary design teams.
• Input design and oversee delivery of all structural aspects of projects.
• Prepare project reports for planning, tender and construction stages with clear technical communication.
• Convey design intent via PowerPoint presentations.
• Prepare fee proposals and quality submissions for design contracts.
