Job summary

AtkinsRéalis Ireland Limited in Cork seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to lead and deliver structural design within a multidisciplinary office. You will oversee all structural aspects, prepare planning and construction documentation, and communicate complex concepts clearly to clients and internal teams.

The role requires chartered status and proven delivery on structural projects, with proficiency in MS Office and structural design software such as Robot and Tekla Structural Designer.

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer with Engineers Ireland or Institution of Structural Engineers.
• Experience delivering Structural Engineering Design across projects.
• Proficient in MS Office; able to use structural design software.

Responsibilities

• Lead Structural Engineer as part of multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide design input and oversight for all structural aspects.
• Prepare project reports (Planning, Tender, Construction) and fee proposals.
• Communicate design intent via presentations and emails.
• Oversee design drawings and calculations; act as Ancillary Certifier for C&S.
• Support financial management of design budgets.
