Job summary

AtkinsRéalis Ireland Limited is seeking a Principal Structural Engineer to lead our Dublin structural team. You will oversee all structural design aspects, including planning and construction-stage deliverables, with clear communication of complex matters to clients and teams.

You will prepare fee proposals, design drawings, calculations, and reports while acting as Ancillary Certifier for C&S and managing budget responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer with Engineers Ireland or Institution of Structural Engineers.
• Experience in delivery of Structural Engineering Design.
• Experience acting as Project C+S engineer on multi-disciplined projects.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Experience communicating design intent and presenting to clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead Structural Engineer within multidisciplinary design teams.
• Oversee structural scope from planning to construction stages.
• Prepare project reports and fee proposals for contracts.
• Communicate design intent via PowerPoint presentations.
• Prepare design drawings and calculations for review.
• Fulfil Ancillary Certifier duties for the C&S discipline.
• Manage design budgets and financial aspects.
