Qualifications

• Third level degree in an associated discipline.

Responsibilities

• CSA engineering design for semiconductor / microelectronics tool installation projects.

Lead Structural Civil Engineer

Position summary:

The Lead Civil / Structural Engineer will provide technical leadership and support to Project and Design Leads while mentoring and developing junior engineers and designers. You will possess a strong understanding of the engineering project lifecycle and be capable of identifying, resolving, and communicating solutions to complex technical challenges throughout project execution. Working closely with project managers, discipline leads, BIM teams, construction managers, and client stakeholders, you will drive effective coordination and the delivery of integrated, high-quality engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• CSA engineering design for semiconductor / microelectronics Tool Installation projects
• Ensure that your technical experience matches the role and work you are undertaking within the organisation.
• Provide feedback to the Department Manager on resourcing, deliverables and project constraints that may impact project delivery.
• Manage resources on your deliverables where resources allocated to assist
• Participate in the preparation of proposals and client presentations
• Build strong client relationships based on trust
• Ensure that Design Safety Procedures and Guidelines are implemented
• Ensure that all relevant Health and Safety regulations are incorporated into design packages
• Design out or limit safety issues which could impact construction or ongoing operational issues
• Highlight to where safety issues will apply during construction/operation of design
• Support and mentor team members.
• Foster interdisciplinary teamwork on projects.
• Adhere and encourage compliance with the Arcadis behavioural expectations and values.
• Work with the team to manage the workload to ensure that all members of the team are treated with respect and supported in their work. Areas of concern with project resources or discipline demands should be referred to your department manager
• Support Procurement in delivering the correct equipment/product in line with TBA, CBA and relevant Arcadis SOPs.
• Compliance with all relevant HR procedures and standards.

Qualifications

• A Third Level Degree in an associated discipline
• 5-8 years' experience as a Senior Engineer / Architect in an associated sector (Ideally semiconductor, advanced process manufacturing or Construction Industry).
• Previous experience of Managing / Mentoring team members.
• Demonstrable experience and willingness to work as part of a Team but with the ability to guide and advise junior team members as required.
• A motivated self-starter with excellent inter-personal, communication and organisational skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to respond to evolving project / client needs.
• Possesses a high level of problem-solving ability.
• Demonstrable ability to plan, organise and prioritise.
• Strong I.T. Skills with proficiency in associated software packages.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Customer / Client Service Focused.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
