Cashel Palace in Ireland invites applications for a Lead Spa Host/Spa Front of House Lead/Spa Reception Lead to join our Wellness team. The role combines guest care with day-to-day operations and people leadership in a luxury spa environment.

We seek a capable people leader who can foster a warm, polished guest experience, manage bookings and ensure a seamless journey from arrival to departure. Weekend flexibility is required in this five-star setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Spa, luxury hotel or comparable guest-facing environment.
• Ability to lead teams and own responsibilities.
• Strong guest service focus and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and develop the Spa Reception and Spa Attendant teams, creating clear expectations and high standards.
• Be a visible role model for warm, confident and personalised five-star guest service.
• Oversee day-to-day Spa front-of-house operation, including team deployment, coaching, rotas, absence and operational cover.
• Ensure bookings, treatments, guest information, payments and handovers are accurate and effectively managed.
• Take ownership of the guest journey from pre-arrival through welcome, Spa experience and departure.
• Act as first point of escalation for guest concerns and special requests, resolving with confidence and care.
• Maintain visual and experiential readiness of the Spa, ensuring areas feel calm and immaculate.
• Walk the Spa environment to identify issues in presentation, cleanliness, maintenance, supplies or guest comfort.
• Work with Therapists and hotel departments to ensure seamless guest journey.
• Support Spa commercial performance through treatment utilisation, rebooking, retail and Wellness opportunities.
